Sandpit #1 - Why Don’t We All Get Introduced

The first Sandpit is all about social games. Games about gossip, trade, and skulduggery. Join us at the Shunt Lounge for an evening of low-tech, high-fun play.
Entry to Shunt costs £5 on the night. As well as everything we’re doing, you get access to the only club in London that Groucho Marx would have joined, and free access to all this other cool stuff.
As well as the scheduled events, there will be games of Werewolf going on all night. And there’s a bar.

6.30 - 8.00pm - Playtesting some new games (open to all)
Join us for a few rounds of Texas Hold Me and other new stuff.
8.15 - 9.00pm - The Gossip Game (Coney) (FULL)
Like anyone who grew up in this small town anywhere, you
have some filthy secrets. And you really need to dish the dirt on
your childhood rival before someone outs you. Think Mafia, with
gossip and a curious postal service.
9.15 - 10.00pm - The Gossip Game (Coney) (FULL)
A second running of the gossips.
10.00 - 10.30pm - The Choose Your Next Adventure Game (open to all)
An open source game topic generation game. Together we will choose the subject of the next Sandpit. If you’ve got an idea for a game, this is the place you need to be. Details on how we do this coming soon (once we make them up).
10.30pm - finish - Mudlarking With Francis Barking (FULL)
It starts with a gumball machine (20p required), takes you on a journey to the beach for some Dickensian scavenging, and finishes with soup. Stout shoes and an inquisitive countenance are recommended. More soon.

The Gossip Game and Mudlarking are now all fully booked, but come down anyway! There are going to be plenty of great things happening, and other side games to play.
