Games
A lot of Sandpit game designers have been generous enough to make their rulesets publicly available, so that other designers can learn from them, and game organisers all over the world can run the games for themselves. Many of the past (and future) Sandpit games have been posted to Ludocity, a pervasive gaming wiki where anyone can write a game up, discuss it or find something to play.
Some past Sandpit or Hide&Seek Festival games hosted on Ludocity include:-
- Bacterius
- Bees
- Checkpoint
- City Blocks
- The Gossip Game
- Hand to Hand
- Journey to the End of the Night
- Mr. Smith
- Paparazzi
- Ponzi!
- Privacy is Dead
- Semaphoria
- South Bank Stag Hunt
- Thoughtcrime
- Trap Street
All of the games have been released under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial licence, which means that so long as you credit the designer and aren’t making any money, you can run their game yourself.
Have you got a game you’d like to run at the Sandpit? Here’s what to do to make it happen.
